BIG FISH - Angelika Zubiate born: Kittel
Born in Geneva, Switzerland, from Austrian parents, grew up in the Netherlands. Lived and studied in the United States in her early twenties and finished her Masters Degree in Science of Publicity & Communication in Vienna, Austria.
To satisfy her artistic passions she studied photography and web design.
During her last years of University Angelika Zubiate worked in a multimedia company, where - which she still considers one of the biggest highlights in her career, and her life - she organized and lead an interview with his Holiness the Dalai Lama during his Europe tour in 1994.
After graduating she switched to pre-production and production of TV-programs and series, coordinating a team of copywriters, photographers and cutters, before permanently moving to Playa del Carmen in 2000, where she was one of the co-founders of the succesful tourist and local magazine Quinta Magazine since 2001.
Currently studying a post graduate in Management and Business Administration at the University of ANAHUAC, Playa del Carmen.
She is fluent in German, Dutch, English and Spanish but definately needs to refresh her French!
